Notice on Nucleic Acid and IgM Anti-Body Tests for Passengers bound for China
2020-11-10 18:55

In order to further reduce transmission of COVID-19 and protect the health and safety of passengers, starting from 8 November 2020, all Chinese and foreign passengers bound for China are required to take both nucleic acid and IgM anti-body tests and then apply for a green health code with "HS" mark (for Chinese passengers) or a green health declaration code with "HDC" mark (for foreign passengers) before boarding the flight. The specific requirements are as follows:

1. Passengers bound for China from Myanmar via direct flights must take nucleic acid and IgM anti-body tests by the designated institutions within 48 hours (valid from sample collecting time) before boarding. Upon receiving the certificates of negative results of both tests, they need to submit them to the Chinese Embassy/Consulate and apply for a green health code with "HS" mark or a green health declaration code with "HDC" mark. The test site is Springline Hotel, Yangon. Please contact your airline for more details.

2. Passengers bound for China from Myanmar via connecting flights must take nucleic acid and IgM anti-body tests in Myanmar within 48 hours before boarding, and then take both tests a second time in their last transit country within 48 hours before boarding the plane to China. Passengers must apply from the Chinese Embassies/Consulates in BOTH countries (Myanmar and the last transit country) for green health code with "HS" mark or green health declaration code with "HDC" mark with their relevant certificates of negative results.

Passengers are strongly advised to take direct flights to China, and the Chinese Embassy/Consulate General in Myanmar will not, in principle, issue the green health code applied by passengers via connecting flights.

3. Foreign passengers, who have received the certificates of negative nucleic acid and IgM anti-body tests, are requested to apply for green health declaration code with "HDC" mark issued by the Chinese Embassy/Consulate.

Applicants can visit the website https://hrhk.cs.mfa.gov.cn/H5/ and register with an email account. Applicant must fullfill every blank with true and valid information and upload the certificates of negative nucleic acid and IgM anti-body tests. After examining and verifying, the Chinese Embassy/Consulate will issue a green health declaration code with "HDC" mark.

The previous Health Declaration Form application through Email has been suspended.

4. Foreign passengers shall present the green health code with "HDC" mark during check-in or before boarding. Passengers are also requested to bring the original Nucleic Acid and IgM Anti-body Test Certificates in case of the need for further inspection.
