China and Myanmar are traditionally good neighboring countries and enjoy a long-standing Pauk-Phaw friendship. In recent years, the high-level contacts between our two countries are frequent, practical cooperation has been expanding, people-to-people exchanges are active and multilateral coordination are close, bringing tangible benefits to the two peoples and making positive contributions to the peace and prosperity of the region. I attach great importance to the development of China-Myanmar relations and would like to work closely with Your Excellency to consolidate the traditional friendship and deepen the mutual beneficial cooperation, promoting the China-Myanmar Comprehensive Strategic Cooperation Partnership to a new height and bringing more benefits to the two countries as well as two peoples.
