Recently, the attacks on police outposts once again broke out in the northern Rakhine State, causing multiple casualties. The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar strongly condemns the violence and has been deeply saddened by the death of the people. The Chinese side supports the efforts by the Myanmar side to maintain peace and stability in Rakhine State, firmly opposes any form of violent attacks and calls for all the parties concerned to exercise restraint and seek to resolve relevant issues through dialogue and consultation, so as to jointly safeguard the stability and peace of Rakhine State.
