On February 2nd, the 2026 Year of the Horse Spring Festival Reception of the Myanmar-Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MHKCCI) was held in Yangon. The event was attended by Ambassador Ma Jia and Counselor Ouyang Daobing from the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar, Mr. Antony Cheung, Chairman of the MHKCCI, and Ms. Vian Cheung, Representative in Thailand and South Asia of Hong Kong Trade Development Council. Also present were diplomatic envoys to Myanmar and representatives of business associations from Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and other countries, as well as representatives from organizations including the China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
