On July 10th, Ambassador Ma Jia met with U Hsan Oo, Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation of Myanmar, in Nay Pyi Taw. The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on strengthening bilateral cooperation in mining, forestry and environmental protection, as well as on human resources development and other issues. U Khin Latt Gyi and Dr. Thaung Naing Oo, Deputy Ministers for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, U Hla Maung Thein, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, and Ouyang Daobing, Counselor from the Chinese Embassy, attended the meeting.
