From September 24th to 28th, the 48th Escort Task Group of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy paid a goodwill visit to Myanmar. Ambassador Ma Jia attended the welcome and send-off ceremony, and boarded the vessels to visit and extend greetings to officers and soldiers. Senior military and government officials of Myanmar attended the event. Staff members of the Chinese Embassy and their families, along with representatives of Chinese enterprises and overseas Chinese, welcomed and sent off the escort task group upon its arrival and departure.

During the visit, the escort task group held professional exchanges, vessel tours, friendly cultural and sporting events, and deck receptions.
