On 17 September, H.E. Mr Chen Hai, Chinese Ambassador in Myanmar, paid a call on H.E. U Myint Swe, Vice President of Myanmar, in Yangon. The two sides exchanged views on China-Myanmar relations and the joint building of the Belt and Road Initiative and China-Myanmar Economic Corridor.

       Ambassador Chen welcomes U Myint Swe to attend the 16th China-ASEAN Expo in China and hopes that the platform of the Expo in Nanning can promote two-way trade, pushing forward tangible cooperation between China and Myanmar to make new progress.

       U Myint Swe warmly congratulates on the 70th Anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and wishes the 16th China-ASEAN Expo a great success. He hopes that the two sides can strengthen cooperation in various fields, bringing more benefits to the two countries and two peoples.
