From October 24 to 26, the 2025 Grand Final Concert and Awarding Ceremony of the Myanmar-China Song Competition (MC Song) were successfully held in Yangon. The event was attended by Charge d'Affaires ad interim Cao Jing, Dr. Aung Kyaw, Director-General of the Office of the Ministry of Education, U Kyaw Soe Moe, Director of the Youth Affairs Department of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, and Daw Cho Cho Myat Aung, Yangon Region Head of Education Department, along with over a thousand representatives from different sectors of local communities.

Ms. Cao Jing and Dr. Aung Kyaw delivered speeches in succession, speaking highly of the event for playing a significant role in promoting traditional Chinese and Myanmar cultures and advancing educational cooperation between the two countries. The contestants delivered marvelous performances. The guests presented awards to the winners of both the individual and team competitions across all age groups.

The event was hosted by the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar and the Center for Language Education and Cooperation and organized by the Bowen Chinese School in Myanmar. During the awarding ceremony, an exhibition of traditional opera paintings from China and Myanmar was held concurrently. Over 20 works from organizations including Guangxi Arts University and the Myanmar Traditional Artists Association showcased the splendid opera cultures of both nations.
